All Concerts are held at
Maine West High School Theater
1755 S. Wolf Road in Des Plaines.

The high school is located at the corner of Oakton Avenue and Wolf Road.
The Theater is located on the second floor at the west entrance.


Parking
Concert-goers may enter the parking lots from either the Oakton Street or Wolf Road entrances.
There is limited parking at the Wolf Road side. From Oakton Street, enter the C-wing parking lot;
entrances are located at the Rotunda, under the canopy.

Handicap Accessibility
Two accessible entrances are available:
(1) Patrons may be dropped off at the main entrance to the school and can enter through a door to the left of the main entrance; this is closest to the elevator.
(2) At the back of the school, near the center of the Rotunda; drivers may go to the East Entrance for drop-off, and
patrons may walk around the Rotunda to reach the elevator

Elevators
A student-operated elevator is available to patrons needing such assistance; it is located in the main entrance foyer.

Hosts
Volunteer hosts are available to assist concert-goers. They can answer questions and give directions to other sites in
the school.

Box Office
The NSO Box Office is located at the Theater entrance on the second floor. Tickets available on all concert dates two hours prior to performances and through intermission. No credit cards please, cash and checks only.
Will Call Tickets may be picked up at the box office.

Pre-Concert Commentaries
The Pre-Concert Commentary begins one hour prior to the concert in Room A-201 (to the right of the Theater).

Late Entrance, Early Exit
Latecomers will be seated only during suitable breaks in the performance. Those who must leave during the performance, for any reason, should do so between movements or at the end of a piece.

Theater Courtesies

We would like to remind our audience of the following courtesies regarding concert enjoyment. Your thoughtful consideration will allow others in attendance to fully enjoy and appreciate today’s concert.

Electronic Beepers, Cell Phones, and Other Sources of Noise
Please turn off your cell phones, paging devices, wristwatch timers and beepers, etc. during the performance. Avoid unwrapping candy or cough drops while the music is playing. Also, please refrain from talking during the performance. All of these acts may disturb both the audience and the performers.

Photography and Recording
The use of cameras and recording devices is strictly prohibited during performances of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.

Smoking
Maine West High School is a smoke-free campus. Patrons are asked to respect their policy and refrain from smoking while in the school building or on school grounds

Refreshments
Refreshments are available in the foyer during the intermission. Donations are appreciated and help to support the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. Maine West regulations prohibit food or drink inside the Theater.

Rest Rooms
The rest rooms are located on the same floor as the Theater in the A and B wings.
